or the birds
or happy childish memory
of happy childish laughter

nor is it escape
a break from the city

nor a gathering of thoughts

it isn’t about
peace or power

or the absurdity
of existence

or the recklessness
of a manic-depressive god

it’s just about
standing on this rock
and looking out
